Today I wanted to talk a bit about Network Extenders. These little devices can make someone who has no service at home have full 3G to 4G service.

A Network Extender enables you to make calls from indoor locations where outdoor cellular coverage does not reach. The Network Extender works like a miniature cell phone tower in your home providing enhanced coverage for up to a 5,000-10,000 square foot area. This comes in handy to a lot of people who have great coverage on their cell phone away from their home, but when they get home they start losing their service. Some people live in mountainous areas or rural areas, and it makes it very difficult to feel like having a cell phone is even worth it.

The way the Network Extender works is, you can begin a call on the Network Extender network and enjoy uninterrupted transition to the nearest cell tower when leaving the Network Extender coverage area, and provided alternative coverage is available. It really is a life saver to people who NEED their cell phone at home.

I have some customers who don’t even want to buy a cell phone because it’s not worth it them. We have a lot of senior customers who like to use our low cost service for emergency purposes. Without that service working at their home it’s just not worth it.

This is where the Network Extender comes into play!
